This weekend is the narutotrek convention. It’s a combination Star Trek convention and naruto convention.  Star Trek, as you know, is an amazingly popular multimedia science fiction franchize. Naruto is an anime show (I think). I was scheduled to do a panel, called lawyers in space. I had some clips from some of the courtroom drama scenes from Star Trek, and I’m a lawyer, and there were a bunch of trekkies, so I figured it would be pretty good.

It actually turned out to be quite fun. There is a but.  A significant but.  But I’ll tell you about that later, because I have been spending forever trying to get this site to look like I want it to look and I don’t have any energy left. But I’ll fill you in later. I’ll tell you about the six foot guy who was cosplaying at Uhura, and the car that was decked out as picachu from pokymon.  For now, I am going back to the convention, because it’s lasting all weekend.
